September 5 Update: Custom Columns, Instant Tour, and Improvements to Collaboration Usability

Customize Search and Completed columns.

In the latest version of Simplifile for counties, you can now customize the columns that display on the Completed page and the Search page. This way you can see the information most important to your organization.

Customize your columns from the Actions menu.

Then, choose which columns you’d like to display from the list, and save.

New Collaboration and Post Closing Features

View the Collaboration tour any time.

When you first start Simplifile Collaboration, there’s a quick tour showing you the ins and outs of the program. Maybe you skipped it the first time around, or maybe you’d like to revisit it to refresh your memory. You’ll now find a small map icon at the top of every page so you can launch the informational tour at any time.

Adding parties to the loan is now easier.

We changed the way you add organizations to a loan on the Loan Info page. You’ll notice the new interface looks and feel more like the card view.

You should find it easier to assign, unassign, or reassign parties to a loan now.

Editing a contact has changed.

We’ve nested editing of contacts under an ellipsis on the top right to improve the user experiencing when making changes to a contact. You’ll also find a new option to change the role type of a contact.

After clicking Edit Contact, simply make changes, and save.
